Dhaka, 25 April, Abnews: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday has summoned two businessmen for their alleged deposit of Tk 4 crore into the account of former chief justice SK Sinha.
The commission has summoned the two businessmen Mohammad Shahjahan and Niranjan Saha to appear at on 6 May, according to letters signed by ACC director Syed Iqbal Hossain on Wednesday.
Justice Sinha was widely criticised by the ruling party men after he had led the issuance of the verdict cancelling the 16th amendment to the constitution.
Sinha resigned from his post from abroad last year following a few allegations raised by the govenrment and a statement issued by the Supreme Court judges.
