Dhaka, 13 Mar, Abnews: Bangladesh cricket team players will wear black badges in the match against India on Wednesday in honor of those killed in the tragic US-Bangla plane crash in Nepal.
“When we heard the news, we were deeply shocked as we got news that 35-40 Bangladeshis were aboard the plane,” Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah said.
“We pray to god for the departed soul and convey deep sympathy to the bereaved family members. May Allah gives them enough strength to bear the pain,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh players took the social media to pay their condolences for the departed.
Shakib Al Hasan wrote in his Facebook, “Completely astounded by the news! Shishir and I are sending our deepest condolence to the victims of US-Bangla Airlines plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Also praying for the quick recovery of the injured passengers and crews. May the Almighty help their families with the strength to endure this disastrous incident!”
Mushfiqur Rahim asked everyone to pray for the victims.
Tamim Iqbal took to twitter to pay his respects, “Heart goes out to all the passenger and the families on board Flight BS211.” “May Allah accept them with ease and may the survivors of this horrific crash recover fast. You all would be in our prayers,” he wrote.
On Monday, 51 people, including 27 Bangladeshis, were killed in US-Bangla plane crash in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport.
