Police detains 39 foreigners from Cox’s Bazar
Cox’s Bazar, 11 Mar, Abnews: Police on Sunday detained 39 foreigners at Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar for working there without any valid documents later released them on undertakings.
 
Police detained them while they were entering Rohingya camps as they could not show any work permit, said Afzurul Haque Totul, additional superintendent of police in Cox’s Bazar.
 
They foreigners were working under different international aid agencies.
 
While entering Rohingya camps this morning, police detained them as they failed to show any documentation in favour of their work in the camps, said Ukhiya police officer-in-charge M Abul Khair.
 
Later they were released after giving undertakings, he added.
