Dhaka, 9 Feb, Abnews: Bangladesh have scored 110/10 in 45.4 overs against Sri Lanka on the second day of the second and final Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket today.
The Tigers lost their last five wickets in the space of just three runs, as Mehidy Hasan Miraz saw his fellow batsmen tamely surrender before the Lions. Miraz, the top scorer for the hosts, was not out on 38.
Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and elected to bat first in the second and final test of the series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the city on Thursday morning.
The second test is important for Bangladesh because if the Tigers will be able to snatch a draw in the match, they will move up eighth position for the first time in the ICC Test ranking.
