Dhaka, 4 Feb, Abnews: Mominul Haque became the first Bangladesh batsman to score a century in both the innings of a Test match on Sunday against Sri Lanka on the final day of the Chittagong Test.
The hosts went to tea on 281 for 5, taking a lead of 81 runs. The day's heroes - Mominul and Liton Das - both returned to the pavillion in quick succession just before the end of the second session.
This was the 5th century for Mominul Haque in the elite Test cricket playing 47 innings of the 26th test after making his test debut against Sri Lanka in Galle in March 2013.
But his record breaking innings came to end when he was caught by Karunaratne off a De Silva delivery, contributing a polished 105 runs off 174 balls with three fours and two sixes, leaving team total 261 for 4 in 77.4 overs.
