Dhaka, 29 Jan, Abnews: The High Court has issued a rule asking the government to explain why it should not give directives to stop operations of unauthorized educational institutions across the country.
The Justice bench of Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Ashraful Kamal came up with the rule on Monday.
The education secretary, director generals of Directorates of Secondary and Primary and Mass Education and other concerned have been asked to respond the rule within four weeks.
Nasrin Sultana, general secretary of Mymensingh district unit of Bangladesh Manobadhikar Bastobayon Sangstha, and Ahona Nasrin, a writer, filed the writ petition on January 28 in this regard.
