Dhaka, 20 Jan, Abnews: The second phase of Biswa Ijtema entered the second day on Saturday at Tongi on the outskirts of Dhaka.
The second phase of three-day Ijtema, the second largest congregation of Muslims after the hajj, began after Fazr prayers on Friday.
Two people died during the last two days.
Of the deceased, one was identified as Mohor Ali, hailing from Jamalpur while another Haji Shohidullah died at the Ijtema ground early in the morning.
With this, total five devotees died in the two phase of Ijtema.
Tabligh Jamaat has been organising the Ijtema at the venue since 1967. But, theIjtema is being held in two phases since 2011 due to accommodation and transportation problem.
