Dhaka, 13 Jan, Abnews: Bangladesh U-19 cricket team beat Namibia by 87 runs in their first match in under-19 World Cup cricket tournament at Lincoln New Zealand on Saturday.
Earlier, Bangladesh, led by skipper Saif Hassan's brilliant 84 and Mohammad Naim's 60, scored 190 for 4 wickets in a rain curtailed Under-19 World Cup match against Nambia.
Early morning shower forced the match to be reduced to 20 overs from 50 over contests.
In reply, Namibia found the chase stiff and was eventually were restricted to 103 for 6 in 20 overs.
Bangladesh’s next game is against Canada at the same venue on January 15.
