Dhaka, 22 May, Abnews: The High Court has imposed a restriction on publishing the written test results of Janata Bank for the post of senior officers on allegations of question paper leaks.
It also issued a rule asking the authorities to explain why their inaction to investigate the allegation of question leak and cancelling the tests should not be declared illegal.
On Apr 21, the latest batch of jobseekers attended the two-hour written test at the capital’s Eden College, Lalmatia Women’s College and Ideal College.
On Monday, 15 of the examinees filed a writ petition leading the the High Court to issue the order.
Barrister Jyotirmoy Barua argued for the petitioners while Deputy Attorney General SM Moniruzzaman represented the state.
Allegations of question leakage rose after the recruitment test for the post of executive officer in Janata Bank was held on April 21 (Friday).
