Dhaka, 21 Feb, Abnews: A Dhaka Court on Tuesday granted 5-day remand for Redwanul Azad Rana, the death-row convict and main accused of Blogger Rajib killing case and his accomplice Ashraf.
The order was passed down by Metropolitan Magistrate Mazharul Islam after police produced the duo before the court and sought 10-day remand.
Earlier on Monday, officials of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Unit (CTTC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Redwanul Azad Rana (30) the death-row convict of Rajib murder case, and his associate Ashraf, from Uttara of the Capital.
Earlier on December 31, 2015, a Dhaka court sentenced two to death, including Redwanul, in a case filed over the murder of secular blogger Ahmed Rajib Haider.
Previously on February 15, 2013, Rajib was hacked to death near his house at Mirpur's Palash Nagar area of the Capital.
